What is living a Zenful Life?

It is simple... what do you do to live YOUR best life? Regardless of your diagnoses, are you living the fullness of your true authentic self? That is what I am here to talk with you about. It is a remarkably interesting dichotomy to be happy and content, until the very last breath. Spoken or not, we were all given the diagnoses of death, at birth. Let's talk about it.
I'm a divorcee, single parent, Gen-Xer, who survived a stroke in my 40's. I have had to reinvent myself several times and figure out how I was going to live the additional time that was provided to me. There is not a person on the planet that does not have some sort of individual struggle, yet you can choose to not suffer during the storm. My philosophy is that to, "Define your NO to get to your YES." If you can get all your "NO" out of the way, you will allow space of the "YES". I feel that ultimately, getting to "YES" is how we live our best lives... despite our situations... our struggles. My mission is to inform individuals of the options and offerings before and at end of life, provide information and structure that meet their non-medical needs.
In reality, we are all at end-of-life. Death may come like a soft kitten purr or a giant lion roar. As we don't naturally predict the when or how, everyone should prepare now. Being emotional, mentally, and organizationally prepare for death before it occurs, is the gift we leave family and friends. The completion of an End-of-Life Guide, Advance Directives, a Will or Trust, may all seem daunting, but I am here to guide you to the correct resources. You can actually get these completed while saving time and money.
I am Sara E. Stewart, "The Death Formulator", an End-of-Life Doula, Author, Speaker, Notary, Certified Yoga Teacher and Meditation Guide, Energy Worker, Officiant and Insurance Broker. I am not a particularly religious person. I am a person of faith and I have woven Zen, the Buddhist principles of the Four Nobles Truths and the Eightfold Path into my life. I am here to help you tackle the topics that make life and death challenging and advocate for you. Allow me to hold space for your questions, joy, sadness, confusion, peace, grief, mourning, contentment, etc. I welcome your conversation.
